- Oversee daily accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, and employee expense transactions.
- Review accounting postings for accuracy, proper coding, and timeliness in collaboration with the Staff Accountant.
- Manage accounting operations across the Government Contracting and Playbook product businesses.
- Maintain GAAP-compliant books and DCAA-compliant accounting practices.
- Lead the month-end close and oversee the close book and balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Perform or review bank reconciliations and maintain an accounting close calendar.
- Partner with the Financial Analyst to ensure project accounting and revenue recognition are entered correctly and completely.
- Manage Playbook invoicing and subscription customer accounts, including billing setup, renewals, and accounts receivable.
- Coordinate with Playbook leadership on billing terms, pricing, and customer account status.
- Oversee state tax accounts and serve as the internal point of contact for state and local tax compliance questions.
