Requirements
- Passion about delivering the best UX to diverse sets of users
- Mindset to take data driven decisions and analysing impact of the changes
- Experience with event driven infrastructure in GCP or AWS
- Experience with a server-side typed or untyped language
- Willingness to learn Ruby and Golang
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS (nice to have)
- Experience working in a scale-up or Growth team (nice to have)
- Experience with analytics platforms like Amplitude, Hex (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Come up with innovative solutions to help users get the most out of Algolia
- Execute experiments and A/B tests to choose the best possible solution
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to identify and ideate on opportunities
- Mentor other software engineers and helping them grow
- Design & develop a scalable growth platform
- Work with a wide range of teams to deliver a solid growth foundation
- Improve engineering quality, processes and tooling
- Help define the team roadmap
