Requirements
- Proven track record of success around implementing SEO principles and content strategy: keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building
- Analytical insight: ability to analyse website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics
- Strong Communication skills: comfortable client facing and owning relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong familiarity with industry tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog/crawling tools
- Proven organisational, project, and time management skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO and Content
- Must have agency experience
- Must have B2B tech and/or SaaS experience
- Driven to stay ahead of industry trends, including actively learning how AI and automation can enhance marketing and operations.
Responsibilities
- Create custom strategies and implement best practices for clients to achieve NSMs.
- Use project phase for initial client strategy and optimize/revise strategies based on marketing goals, campaigns, and historical performance.
- Work closely with Associate Director when roadblocks impact strategy and goal attainment.
- Craft creative briefs and compelling content campaigns with a focus on ideation based on competitor and audience insights.
- Use best practices like LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production.
- Set client goals using data from Google Analytics, CRM, SEMRush, and Ahrefs reports, with Associate Director approval.
- Ensure planned strategy is executed through project management, delegating tasks to team members and clients.
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure all tasks are created, assigned, and due dates are met and communicated.
- Work with content writers and designers to complete content campaigns on time and ensure quality.
- Build relationships with clients beyond deliverables, acting as the primary interface.
- Proactively communicate with clients on timeline expectations, goal attainment, and deliverable cadence.
- Proactively communicate with internal leadership on roadblocks, growth opportunities, and account changes.
- Regularly report to clients on strategy progress and impact through bi-weekly meetings, monthly reports, quarterly reports, and bi-annual business reviews.
- Look for opportunities for clients to grow their business with Directive (upsells/cross-sells/referrals).
