Experience: 7+ years

Requirements

7+ years in business development or sales within cross-border payments, FX, or financial services
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a B2B environment
Experience navigating complex FI buying processes including compliance, risk, treasury, and operations teams
Deep understanding of the regulatory and operational frameworks under which banks, MSBs, and fintech's operate
Strong understanding of FX markets, hedging instruments, and international payment processes
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in global payments and financial compliance
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver innovative solutions

Responsibilities

Identify, target, and acquire new clients in key sectors (e.g., financial institutions, money service businesses, fintech and other regulated financial institutions)
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders
Act as a trusted advisor on FX risk management and cross-border payment strategies
Provide consultative selling of Convera’s FX and payment solutions, including hedging strategies, spot and forward contracts, and payment automation tools
Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to position Convera as a thought leader
Work closely with internal teams (Product, Compliance, Operations) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery
Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices in business development
