Requirements

  • 7+ years in business development or sales within cross-border payments, FX, or financial services
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a B2B environment
  • Experience navigating complex FI buying processes including compliance, risk, treasury, and operations teams
  • Deep understanding of the regulatory and operational frameworks under which banks, MSBs, and fintech's operate
  • Strong understanding of FX markets, hedging instruments, and international payment processes
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in global payments and financial compliance
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver innovative solutions

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and acquire new clients in key sectors (e.g., financial institutions, money service businesses, fintech and other regulated financial institutions)
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor on FX risk management and cross-border payment strategies
  • Provide consultative selling of Convera’s FX and payment solutions, including hedging strategies, spot and forward contracts, and payment automation tools
  • Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to position Convera as a thought leader
  • Work closely with internal teams (Product, Compliance, Operations) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices in business development
