Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO ideally within an agency or consulting environment.
  • Comfortable executing technical, content, and local SEO work end-to-end not just auditing.
  • Understand how SEO connects to business outcomes and can articulate that clearly.
  • Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS and ecommerce platforms such as Shopify and Drupal.
  • Well versed in AI-driven discovery.
  • Can manage multiple work streams, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly with internal teams and clients.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and grounded in practical execution.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical SEO audits focused on structured content, crawlability, indexability, and site architecture.
  • Identify errors and technical risks, and provide clear, actionable recommendations that can actually be implemented.
  • Support optimization across common ecommerce and CMS platforms like Shopify and Drupal, including structured data, internal linking, URLs, and performance fundamentals.
  • Perform keyword research to inform content briefs and prioritization.
  • Execute on-page optimization including titles, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking.
  • Support localized and regional content strategies aligned to search intent and market demand.
  • Maintain Google Business Profile hygiene, naming conventions, and citation accuracy for multi-location brands.
  • Optimize location pages with accurate NAP, internal linking, and local relevance signals to improve visibility in map and local results.
  • Support AI discoverability through structured data, schema markup, and AI-ready technical foundations.
  • Help adapt priority content to improve citation and visibility within AI responses while maintaining strong traditional SEO performance.
  • Help connect SEO and AI work to meaningful business KPIs such as revenue, leads, assisted conversions, and lifetime value signals.
  • Use Search Console, GA4, and reporting tools to support performance analysis and insights.
  • Partner with strategists, analysts, PMs, and developer teams to support integrated digital strategies.
  • Contribute to documentation, process and evolving SEO and AI best practices across the agency.
  • Stay informed on algorithm updates, AI platform changes, and industry shifts that impact discoverability.
