Requirements:
BSN or RN with bachelor's degree AND 5-7 years of clinical experience. AAS or ADN degree AND 7-8 years of clinical experience. Registered Nurse with active, multistate licensure. Clinical experience in surgery or a related specialty preferred. Demonstrated adaptability in dynamic workflows and technologies. Demonstrated success leading clinical teams in healthcare or care coordination. Strong understanding of surgical pathways, COE workflows, and clinical decision-making. Ability to coach diverse roles with tailored feedback. Proven experience managing high-volume workflows, SLAs, and quality metrics. Excellent communication skills, including conveying clinical concepts to non-clinicians. Strength in conflict resolution, critical thinking, and collaborative problem solving. Comfortable in fast-paced, technology-driven environments. Ability to build relationships with internal partners, external providers, and Centers of Excellence.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of RN Care Coordinators and non-clinical Care Coordinators. Conduct coaching, quality reviews, and performance evaluations. Ensure consistent delivery of clinical standards and adherence to workflows. Promote a culture of collaboration and member-centered care. Oversee daily operations including case distribution and caseload balancing. Ensure timely progression of members through surgical pathways. Monitor operational KPIs and quality metrics. Partner with COEs, providers, and internal teams to resolve escalations. Support quality assurance initiatives and complaint resolution. Identify and implement process improvements. Collaborate with leadership on new initiatives and program changes. Serve as an operational liaison with various teams. Provide clinical and operational insights for new client implementations. Manage scheduling, PTO approvals, and staffing coverage. Facilitate onboarding, training, and professional development. Contribute to strategic planning for the Surgery Care program. Maintain compliance with all regulatory, policy, and documentation standards.
