10+ years of professional experience in data engineering or software engineering. 4+ years in a leadership or management role. Strong expertise in building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines using modern data technologies (in AWS). Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and transformation tools (e.g., Amazon Redshift, dbt). Proficiency in SQL and Python. Strong knowledge of data modeling principles. Solid understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL, distributed). Experience with data security, privacy principles, and regulated data environments. Strong foundation in software engineering principles, version control, testing, and deployment best practices. Proven track record of building accountability systems and improving team velocity/predictability. Experience estimating data engineering work and managing against deadlines. Hands-on technical skills for pull request reviews and architectural validation. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or related field. Must be a U.S. Person due to FedRAMP authorization.
