Director of Network Operations

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred). 10+ years in network or technical operations. At least 5 years in a leadership role managing enterprise-scale, mission-critical environments. Demonstrated ability to lead strategically and tactically. Proven experience designing, deploying, and operating AWS cloud and hybrid network architectures. Deep understanding of network engineering, routing, switching, firewalls, and performance optimization. Strong knowledge of network security best practices and compliance frameworks. Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Excellent judgment under pressure and ability to make sound operational decisions. Must be a U.S. Person due to GovCloud responsibilities.

Lead architecture, deployment, and management of global and cloud-based network infrastructure. Develop and execute long-term network strategy for scalability and resilience. Serve as a technical leader and player-coach for engineering teams. Establish and manage KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics for network operations. Lead the NOC to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance. Own the incident response process for network issues, driving root cause analysis. Ensure network operations meet compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP). Partner with Director of Security Operations for NOC/SOC coordination. Leverage GenAI and automation for monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting. Drive initiatives in automation, orchestration, and AI-driven optimization. Evaluate emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concept initiatives. Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
