Requirements:
Master’s degree in Reading Education, Special Education, or Speech Language Pathology Certification as a Reading Specialist or similar credential is a plus Experience working with students diagnosed with ASD1/ASD2 Strong understanding of reading intervention strategies and evidence-based practices Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to build rapport and encourage students to enhance their reading skills Availability to work flexible hours, including after-school and weekend sessions
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized instruction and support to students diagnosed with ASD1/ASD2 Utilize various assessment tools to identify specific areas of need Develop and implement personalized literacy plans Monitor student progress and make adjustments to instruction Collaborate with parents and educators to communicate student progress Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
