Data Analytics Engineer

4+ years of professional experience in building cloud data pipelines and data warehousing within a cloud data warehouse (ideally Snowflake). High proficiency and experience working with SQL and Python. Experience in designing data models to support reporting and business outcomes. Experience or a strong desire to learn AWS, Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau. Familiarity with Airflow, Fivetran, Tableau, Terraform, Github Actions.

Monitor, optimize, and integrate batch data source pipelines into Snowflake databases using ELT vendors and Python integrations. Build and maintain dbt pipelines to transform source data into reporting data models. Set up easy-to-use data sources in Tableau and build out Tableau dashboards. Code Airflow orchestration pipelines leveraging Python to connect data ingestion, Snowflake, dbt, Tableau. Design and implement Data Ops practices using Github actions, dbt testing, and/or data observability/monitoring tools. Identify areas for platform improvement and build automation. Stay informed on evolving cloud warehousing and ETL ecosystems. Commit to strong application SDLC concepts during development. Tableau-related dashboard development.
