Data Engineer/Analytics

5+ years of data engineering or analytics engineering experience. Strong proficiency with dbt and modern ELT workflows. Extensive experience with ETL/ELT techniques (batch + streaming). Expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda), GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage), or Azure. Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or Java. Deep SQL proficiency across relational and NoSQL systems. Excellent communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Proven ability to lead technical initiatives.

Design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines. Build and manage data models and transformations using dbt. Implement data governance, quality checks, lineage, and observability. Write production-grade Python/SQL, debug issues, and improve pipeline performance. Integrate internal and external data sources. Contribute to architectural decisions and data engineering standards. Mentor future data team members. Build metrics and dashboards for business needs. Ensure data requirements are incorporated into product and operations workflows. Partner with Security/Compliance for SOC2 and HIPAA-adjacent requirements.
