Requirements:
Experience launching at least two premium indie games in China Fluent Mandarin (native speakers preferred) Solid understanding of the Chinese PC and console games market Experience driving local publishing and marketing partnerships in China (highly desirable) Proficient in Mandarin, either as a native speaker or business level of proficiency Proven experience in game publishing and marketing, ideally with PC indie experience Organized and proactive, comfortable using organizational tools like ClickUp or Jira Strong communicator and collaborator, comfortable working in cross-functional teams and with external partners
Responsibilities:
Localize artwork and store text for the China market Reposition games and brands for the China market Identify platforms and partners to amplify game reach in China Develop and execute winning go-to-market strategies for China Educate the marketing team on China market best practices Coordinate with in-house teams (video editing, PR, social media, influencer marketing, production) Lead discussions and strategies with the China PR Agency
