AP - Mortgage Broker Assistant (Remote)

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 1-2 years of experience in mortgage processing, lending, or financial services. Experience with Australian lenders and mortgage products required. Familiarity with broker systems and loan platforms (Mercury, ApplyOnline). Strong understanding of loan structures, banking, and finance principles. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Verify client income documentation and credit reports. Order and track property valuations and lender requirements. Complete servicing calculators and prepare product comparisons. Structure funding positions and assess client living expenses. Prepare broker notes and maintain loan files. Calculate borrowing capacity and assist with compliance documents. Respond to lender requests. Manage files from pre-assessment to settlement. Liaise with clients for document collection and clarification. Communicate with lenders, solicitors, and stakeholders. Provide application status updates to brokers and clients. Track loan progress and application follow-ups. Manage broker's email and phone correspondence. Update CRM systems and client records. Support sales representatives with administrative tasks. Prepare reports and pipeline updates. Manage social media for the business (bonus task).
