Shape and lead multi-year strategy across priority states, aligning with national campaigns and equity goals. Design and execute campaign strategies and advocacy plans with allies and internal teams. Build and sustain high-impact partnerships with diverse leaders and organizations. Engage and influence state elected officials and agency leaders. Lead state and local initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy. Oversee engagement and technical assistance for schools and districts. Serve as a spokesperson and on-the-ground presence for the organization. Represent the organization at conferences and industry events. Develop and maintain data and metrics to inform strategy and support fundraising. Propose, develop, and lead initiatives to strengthen collaboration and leadership. Coordinate initiatives to include student and education leader voices. Collaborate to develop tools, policy, research, and resources. Lead planning and delivery of convenings. Participate in staff hiring, mentoring, and management. Strengthen organizational knowledge base on state-specific strategies. Lead network communications and funder updates. Contribute to organization-wide strategic projects. Serve as a leader in building team culture.
