Requirements:
8+ years experience leading procurement strategy and execution, ideally across complex or global categories. Excel at building strong & strategic supplier relationships. Deep understanding of global protein and meat markets, including pricing dynamics, seasonality, and supply risk. Understand global packaging & merchandise supply chains and manage complex procurement processes. Direct procurement experience with perishable products. Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and manage multiple competing priorities. Strong analytical skills and ability to present RFP outcomes, cost analyses, and sourcing strategies. Strong communicator who builds trust and influences decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for all materials. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers. Run RFPs to identify new vendors and keep costs optimized. Streamline global supply chain for efficient freight and customs. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues. Analyze global market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks. Develop risk mitigation strategies. Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking. Collaborate with S&OP, R&D, Quality Assurance, Production, and Marketing teams. Manage testing and execution of new materials. Partner with Finance for budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives. Support new product development. Ensure sourced materials meet regulatory requirements and company standards. Drive initiatives for sustainable and ethically produced materials.
