JD or equivalent, with active bar membership in good standing. 2–5 years of post-qualification experience; in-house exposure preferred. Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage high-volume workloads. Flexibility to work independently in remote or hybrid environments. Experience in the manufacturing sector (any industry background acceptable if tied to manufacturing operations). Exposure to large-scale commercial contracting projects. Familiarity with CLM systems and contract operations. Experience collaborating with cross-functional corporate teams.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, distribution agreements, supply contracts, licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, and service agreements. Provide business-focused legal advice on contract terms, risk mitigation, and compliance. Support clients in manufacturing-related industries, with flexibility to assist in other sectors as needed. Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to ensure contracts align with operational and strategic objectives. Assist with contract management processes, including template creation, database oversight, and potential CLM system implementation. Stay current on industry regulations, trends, and best practices impacting manufacturing and commercial contracting.
