Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in educational sales, business development, or related roles Demonstrated success in lead generation, cold outreach, and closing deals Deep knowledge of structured literacy, the Science of Reading, and math pedagogy Experience with Multilingual Learners and a strong understanding of urban school systems A commitment to CORE’s mission and values A learning mindset and dedication to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practice Expertise in structured literacy, language acquisition, and pedagogy Strong presentation skills, with experience delivering keynotes or conference sessions Highly self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote team Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic thinking skills Ability to manage complex sales processes and foster long-term client partnerships
Responsibilities:
Identify leads and nurture client relationships Close sales for CORE Learning's products and services Lead key initiatives such as sales presentations, training sessions, and conference engagements Streamline systems and represent CORE Learning as a trusted advisor Demonstrate proficiency in consultative selling Own the full sales cycle: generate leads, conduct discovery, tailor presentations, and close deals Apply deep knowledge of the Science of Reading and Multilingual Learners to match solutions to client needs Serve as a lead presenter for virtual and in-person sales presentations and demos Coordinate with the Client Success and Implementation team for seamless post-sale transitions Conduct targeted outreach, including cold calls and follow-ups, to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline Research and analyze potential customer segments Identify and pursue high-value district-wide opportunities Represent CORE Learning at industry events and conferences Network with education leaders and decision-makers Collaborate with the Marketing team to elevate CORE’s visibility Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Marketing to align outreach with campaign strategies Organize and lead internal training on products, sales tactics, and value messaging Mentor junior team members and support cross-functional collaboration Collaborate with the Strategic Partnerships team Maintain accurate CRM records Prepare detailed sales activity reports and pipeline updates Identify opportunities to improve sales operations
