Principal Product Manager - Database Kernel

Proficiency in at least one database product (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, or MariaDB). Understanding of database system architecture (SQL, memory structure, transaction model, storage engines, operational diagnostics). Minimum of 8 years of experience in database-related product management, with preference for development or cloud database product management experience. Experience working in the database ecosystem (TiDB ecosystem experience is a plus). Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field. Excellent communication skills, enabling efficient collaboration with internal teams and external clients. Ability to translate complex requirements into well-defined deliverables.

Formulate strategic planning of the product, gathering user feedback and collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Collaborate closely with the development team, leading the creation and release of features. Identify ways to improve customer satisfaction through product design and supervision. Create product-related promotional and marketing materials, and drive product strategy. Establish a feedback loop with customers for product enhancements. Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance products.
