Corporate Counsel and Operations Director

Extensive legal background with a focus on blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors. Proficiency in open source environments and management of SaaS platforms. 5+ years of substantive legal practice in an international law firm or corporate environment. Experience serving in an operations-focused role or environment. Minimum of one year serving within a dynamic web3 environment. Exceptional communication skills, able to resonate with a technical and business-focused audience. JD from an accredited law school and active state bar membership.

Provide general legal guidance on corporate, IP, compliance, and employment matters. Serve as primary internal legal advisor. Handle corporate matters including people operations, contracts, and NDAs. Provide expertise on intellectual property matters and strategize IP paths. Develop and run internal legal learning sessions. Assess global regulatory requirements and ensure compliance. Partner with COO to formulate and drive operational strategies, initiatives, policies, and procedures. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution. Implement operational efficiency and productivity initiatives. Oversee Payroll, AR, and AP processes. Provide strategic input on financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow. Partner with Security team on risk management strategies, business continuity, and disaster recovery. Stay abreast of trends in SaaS, Web3, and related operations.
