Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years related experience in the insurance industry Knowledge of Applied Epic required High school diploma, college degree preferred Property & Casualty License required, or must be open to obtaining Ability to analyze complex insurance situations, needs and options and communicate these options clearly Must be able to work independently with limited supervision Must be able to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks Intermediate computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills Ability to deal with problems involving clients and staff, as well as vendors Ability to demonstrate attention to detail with high degree of accuracy Ability to multitask and prioritize a variety of activities Ability to demonstrate a “client first” attitude Ability to work on a team effectively
Responsibilities:
Provides daily administrative support to Producers and Account Executives. Gathers and prepares renewal information. Processes Endorsement requests, certificates of insurance, and cancellation requests. Assists clients with reporting claims and maintains contact during settlement. Updates applicable production staff on claim status. Processes and follows up on operations duties for new/existing accounts. Ensures timely and accurate transaction execution and documentation maintenance. Contacts clients to inform them about insurance. Educates business partners on insurance products and compliance. Invoices accounts and processes premiums. Maintains files and prepares policy renewal questionnaires. Works expiration lists prior to renewal for customer contact and retention. Performs agency system client updates.
