Requirements:
10+ years pharmaceutical agency experience 10+ years in direct client/brand account management 5+ years of managing multiple accounts and team members Must be able to travel 30% Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (preferred) Bachelor degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related subject (preferred) Advanced Degree (preferred) Extensive experience in a managed markets agency or similar expertise (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain external client and partner relationships Oversee planning and execution of sold business to client satisfaction Consult with clients on content development and project needs Assist clients in developing action plans for business problems Determine staffing and service needs, and allocate resources Provide progress reports and strategic counsel to clients Attend status meetings and report project progress Ensure accurate budgeting for recommended products Follow up with team members and provide feedback Provide client services team with necessary information Monitor team billable hour utilization Provide strategic direction on product and market to client services team Inform team members of availability during peak activity Bridge client service, shared, and strategic services teams Train, mentor, and educate client services team members Identify large-scale initiatives and up-selling opportunities Develop and participate in new business presentations Assist in securing annual net revenue from new business Investigate and engage in new business opportunities Review and approve proposals and estimates Ensure profitability for all new business Ensure staff are updated on financial management and project reconciliations Revise and approve draft budgets and financial reconciliations Ensure internal cost control and budget adherence Oversee/monitor profitability results Liaise with clients on financial issues and scope changes Prepare, review, and approve internal financial forecasts Provide standard and customized reports to clients Adhere to PhRMA, FDA, OIG and ACCME guidelines Display professionalism and sense of urgency Respond well under pressure and be flexible Be results/solution-oriented Demonstrate ownership and accountability for agency procedures Attend internal meetings to discuss project status Ensure quality control of client materials and develop best practices Be available to work outside standard hours when necessary Travel required up to 30%
