Senior Product Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in power distribution equipment or a closely related industry. Competency with medium voltage switchgear products design and manufacturing. Knowledge of industry standards (UL 1558, 1008 and ANSI C37.20 and NEC/CEC). Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs. Skilled in collaboration and problem-solving in ambiguous situations. Demonstrated success collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. Highly effective written and verbal communication. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CAD tools and ERP systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for medium/low voltage power distribution products. Focus on testing and qualifying new products and processes, and supporting their transition into manufacturing. Assist in coordinating new product introduction schedules and activities, and managing cross-product issues. Develop and finalize engineering documentation for production and commercial use. Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering) to align product engineering with business objectives. Work with suppliers for product maintenance, obsolescence, and redesign. Provide engineering leadership and technical support across the product lifecycle, including continuous improvement. Develop training materials for internal teams and customers on product features and applications.
