Senior Design Engineer

5+ years of frontend or UX engineering experience Strong ability to build scalable component libraries, design systems, or reusable UI frameworks Excellent sense of visual and interaction design Fluency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, Next, React, CSS systems, and component architecture Experience collaborating closely with designers Ability to prototype quickly and translate ambiguous ideas into tangible interfaces Deep understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and web performance considerations A systems mindset Strong communication skills A passion for building delightful, consumer-grade user experiences Founder’s mindset

Design, build, and maintain our core design system Develop scalable UI frameworks Partner directly with product designers to translate UI/UX patterns Prototype and experiment rapidly Lead frontend best practices across accessibility, performance, animation, layout, and responsiveness Improve UI consistency and reduce regressions Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate design system components Create documentation, guidelines, and governance processes Raise the overall quality bar for visual polish, interaction fidelity, and frontend craft
