Requirements:
University Degree in Computer or a related STEM field plus approximately 15+ years of experience, or equivalent through Master's/PhD or 18+ years industry experience. Depth and diversity of experience, operating in a leadership capacity at Senior Staff or Architect level. Experience shaping and driving technical strategy and contributing to long-term vision planning. Proven experience in establishing and upholding best practices and engineering standards. Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Lead Jane’s shift toward event-driven architecture for scheduling and booking systems. Coach and develop Staff and Senior Developers, facilitate technical discussions and reviews. Address complex technical problems like system decoupling and performance issues. Support foundational and forward-looking initiatives, ensuring system resilience and scalability. Represent the Booking group in the Architecture Leadership Team. Continue coding on key projects, solving hard problems and mentoring others.
