Technical Product Manager

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on technical products in healthcare or software integration. Prior experience in healthcare environments optimizing lab, order-to-cash, or analytics workflows. Familiarity with Salesforce, Lab Information Management Systems (LIMS) or bioinformatics pipelines. Strong technical proficiency, including understanding of APIs, data modeling, cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP), and software development lifecycle. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, regulated industry.

Define and execute product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Veracyte workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into user stories. Conduct user feedback sessions to identify optimization opportunities. Oversee integration of healthcare standards and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Design and implement product features for efficient workflows between systems. Evaluate and integrate APIs, workflows, and tools for real-time order processing and result reporting. Work with stakeholders to define success metrics. Provide technical guidance on diagnostics-specific use cases. Support development and refinement of product strategy and policies. Partner with leadership to align Veracyte workflows with digital and data strategies. Recommend best practices for scalability, security, and user-centric design. Facilitate training and documentation for internal teams and external partners. Serve as Scrum product owner for assigned Veracyte teams. Host scrum backlog grooming and daily stand-up meetings.
