VP of Finance and Strategic Operations

5-8 years of experience in investment banking, strategic finance, corporate development, venture finance, or startup operations. Advanced financial modeling skills (Excel/Google Sheets proficiency required). Familiarity with Python or data tools is a plus. Deep understanding of blockchain, AI, and financial systems (tokenomics, treasury management, risk analysis). Proven ability to navigate novel, cross-functional challenges in fast-paced, lean environments. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative field. Advanced degree or CFA designation preferred.

Build and manage financial models for partnerships and new initiatives. Prepare internal memos and board materials for strategic decisions. Analyze KPIs and recommend optimizations for growth. Oversee accounting functions and financial forecast models. Lead annual budgeting, cash flow management, and treasury operations. Provide financial performance insights to leadership and investors. Partner on entity structuring and capital flows with partners. Manage fund disbursements and grant programs. Improve financial and operational systems for efficiency and compliance. Evaluate financial viability and risks of AI and blockchain initiatives. Develop pricing strategies and deal structures. Act as a bridge between Finance, Product, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams. Solve cross-functional challenges and drive measurable outcomes.
