Sr. Accounting Policy & Process Manager

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA (or equivalent) preferred. 10+ years of experience in public company accounting functions within a global organization. Strong knowledge of SOX requirements. Proven experience in working cross-functionally across the organization. Deep knowledge of accounting policies and processes. Continuous improvement mindset. Ability to identify areas for improvement and execute solutions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic thinking skills. Hands-on individual contributor role.

Inventory existing policy documents and identify owners. Identify policy gaps and create a development roadmap for new policies. Gather input from internal and external bodies to ensure policy alignment. Ensure policies align with U.S. GAAP, legal requirements, and regulatory requirements. Create a governance structure for Finance policies with annual reviews. Communicate policy updates and create documentation/training materials. Assist in developing desktop procedures for accounting roles. Partner with other departments to ensure effective and efficient accounting policies and processes. Identify and drive process improvement and automation within accounting. Support the management of internal controls and compliance, including SOX compliance. Propose recommendations for changes to accounting policies, procedures, and controls. Support Controllership on ad hoc projects and requests.
