Responsibilities

  • Own Censys' social presence on platforms important to the security community.
  • Publish timely, relevant content tied to research, product updates, and threats.
  • Engage during breaking security events and news cycles.
  • Build relationships with security practitioners, researchers, journalists, and influencers.
  • Activate internal Censys voices to promote perspectives and expertise.
  • Manage and support key Censys executive social handles.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for the Censys user community.
  • Manage community spaces (Slack/Discord/forums).
  • Host AMAs, office hours, demos, and community sessions.
  • Surface insights, feedback, and community trends to Product, Research, and Marketing.
  • Highlight real-world use cases and research-driven investigations.
  • Translate complex technical topics into crisp, trustworthy conversations.
  • Produce engaging, short-form content.
  • Track key engagement metrics, sentiment, growth, and community health.
  • Experiment with new content formats, platforms, and approaches.
  • Provide clear reporting and recommendations to marketing leadership.
