Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA); Advanced business degree a plus. 12+ years of pharmaceutical experience. At least 7+ years of sales and/or field market access experience in biotech/specialty pharmaceutical/device industries. Management experience of 5+ years of first-line sales and/or field market access. Proven sales or field market access performance. Demonstrated track record of successfully building field-based teams along with coaching and developing field-based professionals. In-depth understanding of reimbursement/insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
Responsibilities:
Lead recruitment, coaching, development, and retention of top talent. Train, motivate, and coach Account Managers. Execute field strategies and marketing plans. Participate in national sales strategy development. Assist with field infrastructure and training development. Develop and deliver business plans through periodic reviews. Develop a deep understanding of the assigned region. Identify and address region-specific opportunities and barriers. Review, analyze and interpret field reports. Foster compliant innovation in field approaches. Develop and implement an effective regional communication plan. Plan and execute regional sales. Exercise sound judgment and ensure integrity and compliance. Manage all regional level expenses. Work on and/or lead special project teams.
