Business Development Manager (capital markets)

Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement experience. Deep understanding of private sector financial institutions and sustainable finance. Ability to translate technical content into actionable insights. Experienced in sales, account management, or network/community building. Familiarity with Climate Bonds’ criteria and sustainable finance frameworks. Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.

Serve as the primary strategic partner for a portfolio of CBN members. Facilitate reciprocal influence between members and Climate Bonds. Position CBN as the go-to platform for engaging private sector financial institutions on climate-aligned finance. Drive strong participation in network activities, strategic dialogues and criteria consultations. Support grant-funded projects by engaging members in capacity-building initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to members on Climate Bonds' criteria and market trends. Connect members with internal experts and tools. Deliver engagement and growth for your region, recruiting new members and identifying upsell opportunities. Create a compelling network experience. Co-pilot member relationships with Client Success Managers. Coordinate internally to align member feedback with product development and initiatives.
