Technical Lead, Sustainability Services (Palm oil and soy focus)

Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or environment-related field; Master’s preferred. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in food systems and GHG accounting for land use. Experience developing, mentoring, and managing technical staff. Experience managing technical aspects of GHG accounting in the agriculture field. Knowledge of MRV approaches within palm supply chains for GHG reduction measurements. Working understanding or experience with preparing submissions against key climate corporate leadership standards. Understanding of corporate supply chain management or procurement. Demonstrated experience in research and public communication on technical issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical capability and problem-solving abilities. Understanding of carbon quantification methodologies. Ability to foster and maintain good working relationships with clients and partners. Experience leading complex technical projects with diverse teams.

Lead project review and client communications on peatland restoration project quality and methodologies. Manage analysis of climate projects at the intersection of agriculture, forestry, and GHG emissions. Provide supervision, setting performance expectations and conducting evaluations. Perform GHG calculations and support innovative analytical approaches. Lead development of guidance on carbon inset approaches for peatland restoration in palm supply chains. Prepare technical analysis reports and presentations for diverse audiences. Maintain day-to-day client communications and provide technical guidance. Provide training on methods and best practices. Create decision-support tools for GHG emissions and ecosystem services measurement. Develop and implement statistically sound approaches for project design and data analysis. Develop project work plans, budgets, and reports.
