Engineering at Submittable

You will engage in full-stack development, enhancing PHP-based backend features and APIs to support product growth and platform reliability. A key challenge involves modernizing legacy PHP codebases, refactoring them towards contemporary patterns and frameworks to improve maintainability and performance. The team values clarity, iteration, and disciplined engineering practices, operating in globally distributed, cross-functional environments. You will work with containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes, and implement automated build, test, and deployment workflows (CI/CD).
