Senior Solutions Architect (Commercetools)

10+ years overall Solution Architecture experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field Experience with digital commerce platforms (commercetools, Oracle ATG, Magento) Experience with RDBMS (Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL/MongoDB) 5+ years commercial experience with SAP Hybris (solution architecture, data models, integration) 3+ years in an IT consulting setting in a client-facing role 5+ years experience in Java, JEE, Spring and other enterprise technologies Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with distributed teams using Git, SVN, Jenkins, Jira Experience with web services (SOAP/Rest/GraphQL) and data formats (JSON/XML) Expertise with SAP Hybris B2B and B2C accelerators Exposure to Node.js, Vue.js Experience with agile and hybrid iterative software development methodologies

Define and maintain commerce platform system architecture, including product data models and integration patterns. Lead solution design for commercetools and other modern commerce platforms. Develop architecture blueprints and technical roadmaps. Evaluate and advise clients on commerce technology platforms and composable/headless strategies. Solve platform or integration challenges and act as a technical escalation point. Define solution architecture concepts during pre-sales efforts. Assess legacy commerce platforms for modernization pathways. Identify project technical risks and implement mitigation strategies. Communicate architectural designs and roadmaps to client and internal teams.
