Tax Manager (Technology)

Proven experience in tax technology, digital tax transformation, or tax systems. Experience in multinational or high-growth environments. Prior involvement in ERP implementations or tax engine deployments. Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA). Expertise in tax engines (Vertex, OneSource, Avalara, Sovos, etc.). Experience with RPA/automation tools (UiPath, Alteryx, Power Automate). Strong understanding of SQL, data models, APIs, and data integration. Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik). Understanding of global tax frameworks: VAT/GST, CIT, Pillar 2, TP, PIT, Equity. Ability to translate tax needs into system requirements. Strong project management and documentation capabilities. Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-solving, structured thinking, and continuous improvement mindset.

Develop and maintain the tax technology roadmap. Evaluate, select, and implement tax technology solutions. Design and implement automation solutions. Re-engineer tax processes for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Own tax requirements in ERP systems. Improve tax data quality, lineage, governance, and accessibility. Build dashboards and analytics for real-time monitoring of tax risk and performance. Implement tools for direct tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, and global statutory reporting. Act as subject-matter expert between Tax, Finance, IT, and external vendors. Provide training and upskilling to the global tax team on tools and technologies. Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and system budgets.
