Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in a sales development or business development role, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry Prior team leadership experience (1+ years) leading SDR/BDR teams Familiarity with both outbound and inbound business development tactics, and KPI’s Demonstrative executive presence and ability to influence at all levels of the organization Proven success aligning key stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales, Operations, and BD Self-starter with ability to function independently and in a timely manner Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, especially ransomware threats, is a plus Experience with CRM and Sales systems (Salesforce, Salesloft/Outreach, Nooks, Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong, etc.) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proven track record of meeting or exceeding team sales targets and KPIs
Responsibilities:
Drive Halcyon's new business pipeline growth Identify, hire, and mentor top talent Motivate and empower the team in a distributed environment Report on key metrics and KPIs Standardize best practices for prospect qualification, outbound prospecting, and sales hand-over Establish and optimize standards for lead routing, scoring, response time, cadence, and messaging quality Make improvements to the sales process for better utilization, efficiency, and productivity Work with sales and marketing to define and refine process and strategy Work closely with Field Marketing and Marketing on campaign strategy follow up Develop strategic Go-To-Market initiatives Work with Regional Directors and Demand Generation on territory development Refine and evolve a scalable, measurable and predictable process for running and growing the team Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and ransomware threats
