Requirements:
3+ years of CPG sales experience. At least 2 years directly owning the Target account. Deep understanding of Target economics, merchant expectations, category dynamics, and retail rhythms. Strong track record of developing and executing Target off-shelf programs. Skilled in synthesizing SPINS, Nielsen, IRI, panel data, and POS into clear stories. Experience owning high-stakes line reviews, negotiations, and presentations with Target merchant teams. Fluent in Target systems (POL, item setup portals, Roundel, or comparable tools). Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint or Google Sheets and Slides.
Responsibilities:
Own day-to-day and long-term growth of the Target business across store and digital. Manage and deepen relationships with Target buyers. Establish monthly sales update cadence, translating performance into actionable insights. Lead promo planning and recapping end-to-end. Build a repeatable feature workflow for product launches and execution. Maintain Target's single source of truth for key dates, SKUs, and calendars. Proactively generate a pipeline of incremental Target opportunities. Shift buyer conversations to opportunity-led strategy. Drive cross-functional alignment with Growth, Retention, Ops, and brokers.
