Controller

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Active CPA license highly preferred. Deep technical knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks. Proven track record of scaling accounting functions. Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically. Hands-on experience with ERP systems, NetSuite experience a plus. Experience with equity management platforms (Carta or equivalent). Excellent leadership and team management skills. Exceptional analytical skills, strong organizational abilities, impeccable attention to detail. Strong understanding of US GAAP, ASC 606, ASC 718, and ASC 350-40. Deep experience within a private venture-capital (VC) or private-equity (PE) backed company required.

Own the Core Accounting Function including GL, A/R, A/P, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, and financial close. Drive continuous process improvement across the accounting function and optimize financial systems. Design, implement, and maintain a robust internal control environment. Prepare and present financial statements and reports. Manage revenue recognition and project-based accounting. Manage all aspects of equity and stock administration. Collaborate with FP&A, Operations, Legal, and Contracts teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and oversee tax compliance. Build and lead a high-performing accounting team.
