Controller

CPA with public accounting/audit experience required; Big 4 or nationally recognized firm preferred. 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Deep expertise in SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606) and related technical accounting. Experience taking a company through its first external audit or IPO-readiness process. Track record of building accounting processes and teams at high-growth companies (Series B–D experience ideal). Experience implementing or optimizing financial systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, billing platforms). Strong communication skills.

Act as a strategic thought partner to Finance leadership in building an accounting team. Own and continuously improve the month-end and quarter-end close process, driving toward a 5-day close. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Establish and document accounting policies. Serve as the technical accounting expert for complex or non-routine transactions. Manage all aspects of general ledger accounting. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions. Prepare the company for its first external audit. Design and implement internal controls that can scale toward SOX readiness.
