🔍 Human rights monitoring and advocacy

  • Education and experience in Information Security, ideally with around 10 years of experience in the field and 5 years management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of security risks in human rights and journalism contexts.
  • Experience with technical security tools and digital threats faced by human rights defenders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate in cross-cultural teams with a focus on achieving common objectives.
  • Design, manage, and supervise all aspects of the Information Security program including work plan development and implementation.
  • Implement and maintain an information security risk management program, collaborating with the Director of Physical Security.
  • Develop global information security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure confidentiality and integrity.
  • Provide operational security advice for higher-risk projects, including security incident response.
  • Work with staff to craft security policies and solutions that align with organizational functions.
  • Lead a dedicated team, mentor direct reports, and collaborate with internal and external security advisors.
