Market Engagement Representative

Associate degree or 5+ years of industry experience 2+ years of experience in a related field (professional sales, account management, marketing, business management, customer service, or project management) Valid U.S. driver’s license Personal vehicle Ability to travel locally, primarily in northern Indiana Ability to work from home when not in the field Background in construction, HVAC, mechanical, building controls, utility Demand Side Management (DSM), energy efficiency design, or other building-related experience is preferred Able to self-manage and take initiative Humbly confident with an ability to build trusting relationships, sell concepts, and manage multiple tasks Strong proficiency in developing and delivering formal presentations Located in or willing to relocate to central or northern Indiana

Conduct outreach, educate, and assist contractors in participating in energy efficiency programs. Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with contractors. Develop and execute outreach strategies to recruit and retain contractors. Deliver sales and program training presentations. Help contractors identify qualifying projects and incentives. Support contractors' application completion, submission, and follow-up. Answer program inquiries. Train and support contractors on new software programs. Support Program Managers in project development, tracking, analysis, and management. Edit and format program documents and reports.
