Requirements:
- Minimal 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, or commensurate experience.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation).
- Deep familiarity with AWS native services: ECS, EC2, EKS, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, KMS, RDS and LZA configuration.
- Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh technologies.
- Strong scripting/automation experience (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).
- Experience in designing or using profiling tools and performance test frameworks.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, caching, event-driven architecture, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities in large-scale distributed environments.
- Experience in high-traffic, globally distributed environments.
- Experience with zero-downtime migrations and multi-region deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead capacity planning, autoscaling, and performance optimization.
- Define and enforce best practices for scalability, reliability, and observability.
- Conduct architectural reviews for performance and cost efficiency.
- Partner with engineering teams on microservice infrastructure implementation.
- Implement and improve metrics systems for performance bottleneck diagnosis.
- Partner with engineering teams to enforce SLOs/SLAs.
- Lead incident response for high-severity cloud infrastructure issues.
- Provide solutions for production teams to measure and predict cloud costs.
