Data Consultant/Team Lead

5 to 7 years of work experience in a data analytics and/or data engineering role. Minimum of 1 year leading projects, either formally or informally. Exposure to developer tools/workflow (e.g. git/github, SSH). Knowing how to get around a command line environment. Project management experience (eg. Basecamp, JIRA, ASANA). Experience with the AWS, Google Cloud ecosystem (BigQuery, Redshift). Experience with business visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI). Experience with data warehousing and using Snowflake. Experience optimizing database/query performance. Proficiency with a scripting language (e.g. Python, R, Perl, bash) and advanced SQL. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (preferred). Worked for a consulting/services organization (preferred). Worked with or for Media & Entertainment or Telecom companies (preferred).

Guide clients on optimizing their data environment. Develop system engineering, integrations, and architectures. Implement and advise on data warehouse solutions, ETL pipelines, and BI reporting tools. Develop data models for client use cases. Teach technical data modeling concepts. Manage technical teams of up to 4-6 people. Assign staff with appropriate skill sets to projects. Work within a project management framework. Develop Thought Leadership and support sales teams.
