Senior Counsel, EMEA

Qualified lawyer in a European jurisdiction (ideally Germany or DACH). At least 10 years of post-qualification experience. Substantial in-house experience in the software or SaaS sector. Strong expertise in GDPR and European privacy frameworks. Solid experience managing complex commercial negotiations and drafting technology contracts. Ability to work independently and handle diverse legal issues. Fluency in German and English (written and spoken). Preferred: experience in multinational tech environments, IP, employment regulations, and broader European privacy frameworks.

Provide legal guidance on commercial topics (SaaS, licensing, tech transactions, negotiations). Advise on data protection and privacy regulations (GDPR) and regulatory developments. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts across Europe. Collaborate with Sales, Product, HR, and Compliance teams. Monitor emerging regulations and adjust policies. Support corporate governance, internal policies, and employment law. Manage relationships with external counsel and legal budgets.
