Sales Executive, Quantum Computing - Financial Services

Experience selling in the Capital Markets industry with a focus on Quantitative AI/ML solutions. Established relationships with Senior Business decision-makers within Fortune 100 Financial Services Institutions (Banking, Capital Markets, Payments and Insurance). Undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering, Math, Computer Science or another relevant technical field (STEM). Minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales/Business Development with quota carrying responsibilities. Knowledge in Quantum Computing Platforms, Algorithms, Applications (AI/ML at minimum). Existing senior-level relationships (CTO, CIO, BU Head, CXO) within the FS industry with proven ability to sell multi-million dollar deals. Experience in category creation selling.

Develop a pipeline of sales opportunities for IonQ’s Quantum Computers, Networks, Applications and Access. Qualify opportunities based on budget, skills, interest, executive commitment, and timing. Formulate proposals for access to IonQ’s system (cloud, remote dedicated, or on-prem dedicated). Negotiate agreements and close business. Drive customer satisfaction and escalate issues to the broader team.
