Senior Manager, Volunteer Engagement

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in the non-profit industry. Direct experience in the volunteer engagement field. Minimum of 3 years of direct Make-A-Wish volunteer management experience preferred. Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA) preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce required.

Act as primary liaison between National Office and select chapters. Provide onsite onboarding and continuous support for new volunteer engagement staff. Advise and guide chapter leadership on volunteer engagement staffing and program strategies. Ensure seamless staff transitions within chapters. Analyze volunteer reports to identify chapters needing support. Guide chapters toward best practices and industry trends. Build and maintain strong relationships with chapter staff. Develop training and resources for chapter staff and volunteers for the Volunteer Portal. Develop and align on needs for future Volunteer Portal enhancements. Design and deliver impactful training for volunteer engagement staff. Lead the chapter peer-to-peer mentor program. Advocate for volunteerism within the enterprise.
