Operations Lead 2026, Colombia

Based in Colombia (Medellín preferred). 5+ years of operations leadership or management experience, ideally within multinational or U.S.-based organizations. Strong knowledge of Colombian regulations (labor law, compliance, HR, business operations). Direct experience coordinating with U.S. teams, executives, or clients. Proven ability to design and optimize operational workflows. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Experience managing local vendors, partners, and/or government agencies. Experience building or scaling operations in a startup or high-growth environment (preferred). Familiarity with finance operations, payroll, or local compliance systems (preferred). Project management certification or experience (preferred).

Lead and execute day-to-day operational activities in Colombia. Act as liaison between local teams and U.S. leadership. Oversee compliance with Colombia’s legal, tax, employment, and operational regulations. Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes. Manage relationships with local vendors, partners, and government entities. Support HR operations including hiring, onboarding, and compliance. Monitor operational KPIs and prepare reports. Identify risks and ensure operational continuity. Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
