Requirements:
8+ years of experience with technical sales of distributed systems and infrastructure software. Operational experience with a Docker-based container platform. Familiarity with Developer tools, including CI and CD pipelines. Familiarity with cloud technologies. Development experience (scripting, application development, etc.). Significant experience with Linux. Exceptional communication capabilities. Previous experience building solutions with Docker, Kubernetes, etc is preferred. Must be willing to travel to clients.
Responsibilities:
Drive the technical evaluation stage of the sales process. Serve as the key technical advisor to the sales team. Educate customers on Docker capabilities and value. Engage with customers to document requirements and communicate technical value. Create technical proposals and presentations. Prepare and deliver presentations, demos, and workshops. Manage proofs of concept (POCs). Distill and communicate customer needs and product feedback. Devise and execute strategies for technical wins. Provide technical leadership throughout sales and post-sales processes.
