Requirements:
5+ years of experience in the quality assurance field Hands-on testing experience with mobile devices (Android + iOS) Experience testing software on embedded Android devices Familiarity with ADB, system logs, and Android internals Experienced with logging and tracking defects throughout the defect lifecycle Strong understanding of the SDLC, Agile testing, and software testing methodologies Clear and effective verbal and written communication Capable of analyzing business requirements from a customer’s perspective Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to identify and foresee requirement gaps
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product and engineering during project scoping and refinement to identify risk and establish test plans. Manual exploratory testing and validation of new projects. Test Android-based software running on custom hardware and firmware. Define, design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts. Participate in bug triage and incident response. Collaborate with QA team members across pods to improve testing efficiency.
