Requirements:
Familiarity with all officially supported desktop browsers and their compatibility with 1Password in the browser Well-developed knowledge of file structures, system settings, and permissions of at least one supported operating system; working knowledge of others Comfortable using machine virtualization to troubleshoot 1Password on Windows, Linux, and Mac Ability to execute commands in a terminal environment to surface diagnostic information Experience with macOS utilities for diagnostics Knowledge of where OPM8 saves information in the OS directory Ability to set up basic MDM profiles for troubleshooting Comfortable using Xcode to emulate OPI for troubleshooting Proficient at troubleshooting TPM faults at the system authentication level Capable of troubleshooting Group Policy Objects and registry issues Troubleshoot 1Password app update or installation failures Understand the impact of antivirus and antimalware on the 1Password app Comfort troubleshooting consumer integrations Troubleshoot and provide solutions to Extension deployment questions Interpret Console Log emits and desktop Diagnostic Reports Troubleshoot passkey issues Comfortable exploring developer documentation for supported distributions Proficient troubleshooting display/desktop manager issues Understand biometric class differences and how they impact 1Password Familiar with logcat
Responsibilities:
Reproduce, diagnose, and deliver solutions for escalated Tier 2 Technical queries Resolve Tier 1 CRM volumes when required Take on customer calls to understand and scope issues Maintain working knowledge of known issues and workarounds Guide junior colleagues Use CS stack tools for troubleshooting Follow established workflows and adhere to performance expectations Understand 1Password's product feature offering and customer usage Address questions related to app functionality Collaborate with peers across the CS org Effectively escalate open queries to Tier 3 Create internal documentation for common questions or guides Troubleshoot issues related to app installation/update failures and offline statuses Use basic networking principles to troubleshoot connection issues
