Engineering Manager, Growth

3+ years managing teams focused on personalization, experimentation, or growth platforms. Deep technical expertise in modern web technologies and personalization ecosystems. Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Python, Node.js, GraphQL, and Next.js. Shipped production code and can contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions. Understand personalization strategies, user segmentation, ML model integration, and data-driven product development. Strong collaboration skills with Engineering, Data, and Product teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Define the technical strategy for the Personalization Platform. Lead technical execution, including system design, architecture, and operational excellence. Own the development of self-service tools for product teams. Partner with the Data org to implement recommendation engines and user context APIs. Build and maintain high-throughput, low-latency systems for personalized content and recommendations. Stay on top of personalization and experimentation trends. Develop effective ways to communicate, monitor, and lead the team. Build rapport with team members through coaching and mentorship. Participate in code reviews and spread technical knowledge. Use customer feedback and data insights to guide team decisions. Actively recruit, onboard, and train new engineers. Create documentation and training resources for the personalization platform.
